About me

RideReady Cycles is the culmination of a lifelong love of all things bike and a long professional career as an engineer. I have spent the last 36 years in the Army providing engineering support to aircraft, vehicles, weapons and radios. And the last 50 years riding, racing and fixing bikes. I recently formalised my bike repair skills through the Cycle Systems Academy where I gained my Level 2 and Level 3 diploma in Cycle Maintenance.

My aim is to provide you with a personal service that fits around your life to minimise the hassle associated with getting your bike repaired or serviced. This means more time riding and less time on admin! Where possible, I will come to you and will conduct the work at a time and place that suits you. For bigger jobs or where it suits you more, I can collect your bike, take it to my workshop to carry out the work and return it to you at your convenience.
